Privacy Policy

Our Commitment
Your privacy is important to us. Billify is designed with a privacy-first approach — we don't collect, store, or transmit your personal invoice data to any server. This privacy policy explains what data is and is not collected when you use Billify.
Data Collection
Billify does not collect any personal information through its core invoice-generation features. All invoice data, settings, and preferences are stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage on your own device. We do not have access to your invoices, client names, amounts, or any other data you enter into the app.
Cookies and Local Storage
Billify uses your browser's localStorage API to save your theme preference and invoice drafts. These are essential for the app to function and are not used for tracking purposes. However, third-party services integrated into the site (such as advertising networks) may set their own cookies as described below.
Analytics
Billify uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which pages are visited and how visitors found us. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and pages viewed. It does not have access to any invoice data you enter, which never leaves your browser. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser settings. For details on how Google processes this data, see https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Third-Party Advertising
Billify may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. When ads are shown, Google AdSense uses cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other websites on the internet. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your browsing patterns. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings at https://www.google.com/settings/ads. Alternatively, you can opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page at https://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp. For more information about how Google uses data when you use Billify, please review Google's Privacy & Terms at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Third-Party Services
Google Analytics and Google AdSense (when ads are shown) are the only third-party services used on Billify. Fonts are self-hosted and served from our own domain, so no font requests are sent to Google or any other third party.
Data Security
Since all invoice data remains on your device, the security of your invoice data depends on your device and browser security. We recommend keeping your browser updated and using device-level security measures such as password protection and encryption.
Children's Privacy
Billify is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Your Rights
You have full control over your data. You can view, export, or delete all stored invoices at any time through the History page. Clearing your browser data will permanently remove all Billify data from your device. Since we do not store your data on our servers, there is no server-side data to request deletion of.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when this policy was last revised.
