How We Use Local Storage and Cookies
Billify uses your browser's localStorage API to save essential data for the app to function properly. We also use third-party services that may set cookies on your device.
Essential Storage
Theme preference (light/dark mode) — stored under the key "theme". This is required for the app to remember your display preference between visits.
Invoice Data
Your saved invoices are stored under the key "billify_invoices" in localStorage. This data never leaves your browser and is essential for the History feature and draft saving functionality.
Analytics Cookies
Billify uses Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies (names beginning with "_ga") to distinguish visitors and measure how the site is used. These cookies do not contain any of your invoice data. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or by blocking cookies for this site in your browser.
Advertising Cookies
Billify may display advertisements via Google AdSense. When ads are shown, Google and its advertising partners may set cookies on your device to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance. These cookies are managed by Google, not by Billify. Managing Your Data
You can clear all Billify data at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain, or using the "Erase Everything" button on the History page. To manage advertising cookies, use the opt-out links mentioned above or configure your browser's cookie settings.
