How We Use Local Storage

Billify does not use traditional HTTP cookies. Instead, we use your browser's localStorage API to save essential data for the app to function properly.

Essential Storage

Theme preference (light/dark mode) — stored under the key "theme". This is required for the app to remember your display preference between visits.

Invoice Data

Your saved invoices are stored under the key "billify_invoices" in localStorage. This data never leaves your browser and is essential for the History feature and draft saving functionality.

No Tracking

We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. Your browsing behavior is not monitored or recorded by Billify in any way.

Managing Your Data

You can clear all Billify data at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain, or using the "Erase Everything" button on the History page.
